What is the Desert Storm event?

Desert Storm is a weekly event where your alliance takes on another alliance on a desert battlefield. The aim is to capture and maintain control of strategic buildings to accumulate points. The alliance with the most points at the end wins.

How the event works

  • Registration: From Monday to Wednesday, alliance leaders (R4/R5) register members to take part.
  • Matching: On Thursday, the game matches your alliance with another of similar power.
  • Battle: On Friday, the battle takes place at the time you chose when you registered.

Members can apply to take part, but registration can only be validated by R4 and R5.
If you have not registered by Wednesday at the latest, you will not be able to take part in the Friday battle.

Objectives and Points

There are two types of points to accumulate:

  • Battlefield Points: Contribute to the alliance's overall score.
  • Individual Points: Determine personal rewards based on your performance.

How do you earn points?

  • Capture and hold buildings: The longer you control a building, the more points you earn.

  • Collect supply crates: When a building changes hands, crates appear. Collect them to earn extra points.
  • Fighting the enemy: Attacking and eliminating enemy troops earns you individual points.

Key Buildings to Capture

Here are the main buildings and their advantages:

  • Oil Refineries: Available from the start. Provide a good flow of points.
  • Research Centre: Reduces teleport recharge time.
  • Information Centre: Increases the points generated by all the buildings you control by 10%.
  • Field Hospitals: Automatically treat your troops every 10 seconds.
  • Arsenal: Increases your heroes' attack, defence and health by 15%.
  • Mercenary Factory: Reduces the stats of enemy heroes by 15%.
  • Nuclear Silo: Available after 10 minutes. Offers the most points per second.
  • Oil Wells: Appear after 20 minutes. Allow you to collect points passively.

Managing your troops is very important, which is why we recommend that you capture the hospitals as a priority.
This will allow you to recover units every 10 seconds, but also prevent your opponents from recovering those they lose.

Awards

  • Alliance Rewards: All members of the alliance receive rewards, whether they have participated or not.
  • Individual Rewards: Based on individual points accumulated. A minimum of 10,000 points is required to be eligible.

Important points

  • You always start the event with your training grounds full and with the highest level units available according to your barracks.
  • You don't lose any troops: at the end of the event, your training grounds will return to their pre-event state.
  • This event is undoubtedly the one that brings the best rewards, even in the event of defeat.
  • You can schedule both teams (A and B) at the same time.
  • You can win and get rewards even if there is no opponent (which can happen frequently with the B team).
